PCRM

Thermodyne Engineering System has over 20 years of expertise in manufacturing PCRM according to the system requirement. We have designed, manufactured and installed PCRM for our customers to assist them optimise the magnitude of energy while lowering maintenance and energy expenses.

Pressurised Condensate Recovery Module - PCRM

In this energy conscious environment, one always looks forward to saving and reusing the maximum possible magnitude of energy. Returning the highest possible percentage of condensate to the boiler offers an exceptional return on the investments by helping to cut energy and maintenance costs.

Pressurised Condensate Recovery Module(PCRM) includes energy saving, water treatment charges & also includes calculations for potential savings.

It is a unique system where the condensate generated from your process is fed back under pressure directly to the boiler, unlike any other conventional condensate recovery system where the condensate is discharged at atmospheric pressure.

Working principle of PCRM

At the same pressure and temperature, 1 kg of steam condenses entirely into 1 kg of condensate. When saturated steam is injected into a process, it releases its latent heat, which is an excessive amount of the total heat it contains. The remaining heat in the steam is preserved as sensible heat in the condensate.

Now that this condensate is added to the feed water from the feed pump, the net temperature of the water entering the Boiler shell is much higher than it would be without the condensate recovery.

For the steam generation, the net energy requirement of the water goes down, leading to less fuel consumption, hence the savings which get compounded every year.

Saturated steam is used to heat in order to release its latent heat, which accounts for an excessive amount of the total heat in the contents. The remaining heat in the steam is preserved as sensible heat in the condensate.

Advantages of PCRM

Thermodyne's Pressurised Condensate Recovery Module system serves you with the following advantages:

  1. The whole condensate is recovered

  2. No Flash Steam loss

  3. Minimal make-up water requirement

  4. Prevent loss of mass/quantity of condensate

  5. Reduced water treatment cost for make-up water

  6. Reduced fuel consumption due to high feed water temperature

  7. An increased steam output of the existing boiler

  8. Excellent return on investments
