COMBITHERM Boiler : Three Pass Smoke Cum Water Tube Boiler

The Combitherm boiler, often known as a Combi boiler, is a water and smoke tube design that is unique. It is the combination of both the Water Tube and Smoke Tube Boilers, with some tubes forming an enclosed portion of the exterior furnace through which water flows and the rest of the tubes being put in a shell through which flue gases flow.

The high-temperature zone is where radiation heat transfer and convection heat transfer occur in a shell where water is filled and flue gases move at high velocity in the tubes because the furnace is surrounded by water tubes on all five sides.

Furthermore, in the case of Combitherm boilers, our membrane tube design ensures that there are little or no losses to the environment, and the tubes also offer a large heat transfer area, boosting radiation heat transmission.

  • To transfer heat to the water via convective heat transfer, the boiler tubes are divided into two passes. Steam is collected at the top of the boiler shell from both sides and then delivered to the desired process application through steam lines.

  • The membrane tubes are constructed such that there are little or no losses to the environment, and they also have a large heat transfer area, which increases heat transfer radiation.
